6 - 10. The five youngest children were: Winifred ("Winnie") Mary Hanmer, 8 May 1893 - 30 May 1981, who didn't marry; John Satterfield Hanmer, born 18 May 1895, who disappeared one day in 1918 or 1919 and wasn't seen again; Elizabeth ("Beth") Mary Hanmer, 21 October 1897 - 25 October 1978, who didn't marry; Phillip Marsden Hanmer, born 18 December 1899 in Birkenhead, Cheshire, who married Mildred ("Millie") Alice Arden on 20 August 1927 (no issue?); and Nancye Darling Hanmer, 1 December 1904 - 25 October 1978, who didn't marry.

Philip's wife, Millie, suffered a heart attack on the night of 2 March 1970, was taken to hospital and died the following day.

Nancye wrote to her nephew George Murray Hanmer from her home at 15 Thornham Old Road, Royton, Oldham, Lancashire on 30 March 1970 with news of Millie's death. Her brief letter reads as follows:

"Dear Murray and Trudi, Just a very short note to tell you that Uncle Phil's wife Millie died today. She had a heart attack last night, was taken to hospital and died today.

I don't know the funeral arrangements yet but [will] probably be on Saturday.

Much love from us all, Aunt Nancye."

Philip himself died very suddenly and unexpectedly three months later on 27 June 1970 in St Asaph, Denbighshire.

Winnie wrote to her nephew George Murray Hanmer on 2 July 1970 with news of Philip's death. She was staying at the time at 15 Thornham Old Road, Royton, Oldham, Lancashire. Her letter reads as follows:

"My dear Murray, I cannot remember if any of us let you know that Uncle Phil died very suddenly and unexpectedly last Saturday. It has been a great shock to us following so closely on Auntie Millie and Uncle Frank's deaths. All 3 gone in just over 3 months.

The Cremation was yesterday and Auntie Nan has been at his bungalow since Monday and returns tomorrow, but will have to go back again. I came here to be with Aunt Beth and Betty came on Monday to look after us both.

Will you be kind enough to let Elizabeth know as I can hardly see what I write my eyes are getting so bad. Please give her my love.

I hope you are all well and able to enjoy your lovely garden, although the weather has been so poor lately.

With lots of love to you all, in which the Aunts join, Auntie Winnie."

Winnie herself died on 30 May 1981. The two remaining sisters Elizabeth Mary and Nancye Darling Hanmer lived together in their latter years at 15 Thornham Old Road, Royton, Oldham, Lancashire. They had both worked as nurses. By a very strange coincidence they died on the very same day. Nancye, the younger of the two, died suddenly on 25 October 1978. Beth, already in a nursing home, died later, possibly from the shock of hearing the news about Nancye.
